I never seen a forum so dead during playoff time do you guys ever post an opinion on a game or are you here just to play jeffs contest? I thought nhl fans were supossed to be the most diehard, knowledgeable, intence guys out there! i know you guys are good at picking the games because i've made some good money following the contest thread but i was just wondering why nobody has been saying shit outside the contest. not bashing just curious
thats what i used to say but this year i gave it another chance and just fell in love with it, in the past i was able to only watch bits and pieces of the playoffs but now i found my self on the edge of my seat during the regular season while watching games from start to finish.waaayyy better than basketball
Teddy, I am in total agreement with you. This years playoffs have been great from the first round to Game 7 of Ottawa-NJ. I am looking forward to the finals as I am still trying to figure out how the hell Anaheim is still playing.
The Finals are gonna come down to goaltending, If Brodeur is on I cant see Anaheim winning this series despite J.S. Giglore stealing the Western side of the bracket. Another factor is if Joe N. is healthy enough to go for Jersey, he is a big part of their offense and missing him over a prolonged stretch may hurt Jersey. As usual in hockey Special Teams will be a major factor in this series and if Jersey gets the power play clicking then Anaheim wont have a chance.
I am looking for Jersey to win the series 4 games to 1. Jersey winning games 1,2,4,5. I think we are looking at a couple of one goal games with the empty netters coming into play. Going to go with most games going under 5 goals, looking at 3-1, 2-0, and yes even the classic 1-0 OT game.
